Need a replacement to rp Batman and The Joker

Image

Need someone who wants to roleplay Batman and The Joker. Im RPing Moon Spell (Moon Knight) and Black Spectre in the following RPG.

NOTE: It would be nice if you didnt just play the normal character, but instead make up a different origin for the character [not required though], I took the Moon Knight and Spectre characters and created new backstories for them.

Gotham City was founded by a Norwegian mercenary and was eventually taken over by the British. The new founded city was named after the village of Gotham, Nottinghamshire, England, a place that, according to legend, was founded by the Germanic Goths.

Gotham is major metropolitian city situated on an island located on the Northeastern coast of the United States.

Gotham has been described as "New York from 14th Street down, the older buildings, more brick-and-mortar as opposed to steel-and-glass." and as "New York below 14th Street, from Soho to Greenwich Village, the Bowery, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the sinister areas around the base of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges.

The urban decay and utter depravity of the former city was once compared to the grand stature of the New Gotham City, in a famous quote one writer stated. "Gotham is so bloody awful, no one normal lives there and there is no one to protect its citizens from the criminal element. Gotham is an open sewer of crime and corruption, every miserable human story set there serves to demonstrate the complete and utter failure of Commissioner Gordon. With all his allies the city still exudes a vile miasma of darkness and death! Fortunately this is no longer an accurate portrayal of our beloved metropolis. This is The New Gotham City, a cool, vibrant Gotham, with an energy of excitement which draws people to live and visit here."

During the American Revolutionary War, Gotham City was the site of a major battle. Rumors held it to be the site of various occult rites.

The person cited as being influential in promoting the unique architecture of Gotham City during the pre-American Civil War era was Judge Solomon Wayne, Bruce Wayne's ancestor. His campaign to reform Gotham came to a head when he met a young architect named Cyrus Pinkney. Wayne commissioned Pinkney to design and to build the first "Gotham Style" structures in what became the center of the city's financial district.

During the Civil War, it was defended by an ancestor of The Penguin, Fighting of the Union Army Col. Nathan Cobblepot, in the Legendary Battle of Gotham Heights. By the mid 20th century (1932) Gotham was run by the Falcone Crime Family (Italian) - Under Carmine "The Roman" Falcone, who maintained a stranglehold over all of Gotham City's crime before the rise of the original Black Mask family (circa 1983).

In May, 1998 Gotham city suffered the results of a magnitude 7.6 earthquake, the epicenter of the which was less than a mile from Wayne Manor. In the wake of the destruction, the devastated city spiraled into chaos. Resulting in the federal government cutting Gotham off from the rest of the United States and making it into a No Man's Land, destroying all bridges leading to Gotham and forbidding people from entering or exiting.

The United States government eventually reversed the No Man's Land order and allowed Gotham to rejoin the United States,

The Black Mask crime family gained control over all gangs in newly renovated Gotham City, successfully running all crime in Gotham from inside Arkham Asylum. Another mysterious group has revealed itself and is planning to take over the reigns of power from the Black Mask crime family. Calling themselves the New Black Masks.

Gotham City is once again that dark and foreboding metropolis rife with crime, grime, corruption, and a deep-seated sense of urban decay in the parts of the city not rejuvenated post-No Man's Land.

This is the situation in which our anti-hero's find themselves.......
